Conditions of Registration

REFUNDS
It is the policy of BLOOMINGTON OBEDIENCE TRAINING CLUB to offer NO refunds for incomplete classes,
except upon receipt of a veterinarian’s written note certifying the death or disabling injury of the enrolled dog.

LIABILITY
Handlers are liable for any injury or damage sustained or caused by their pet or themselves while participating in
THE CLUB activities.

EQUIPMENT
We require the use of an buckle or snap collar and a 6 foot leash for training classes. The collar and leash are supplied by the handler.
Bring a baggie full of soft doggie treats (cut-up hot dogs, cut-up cooked steak, SOFT dog kibbles, etc.)

HEALTH
Rabies certificate is required for dogs 16 weeks or older entering classes. Proof of parvo vaccinations
are required for all dogs attending classes.
If your animal has a “temporary” communicable medical problem, such as fleas, kennel cough, etc., we request you do not bring him/her to class. You may still attend classes without your dog.
We also request that any bitch in season not be brought into the BOTC training facility. We will make every attempt to reschedule any unused block training session. Please discuss this with your instructor.

GENERAL
It is the policy of BLOOMINGTON OBEDIENCE TRAINING CLUB to provide a safe facility in which to train dogs.

  • The members of BOTC believe all dogs should be handled in a humane manner. If any BOTC instructor
    or BOTC Board Member determines that an animal is being mistreated or is in any way in danger by
    the owner/handler, that animal and owner/handler may be asked to leave the BOTC facility.

  • Aggressive dogs will not be tolerated within the BOTC facility. If an instructor or BOTC Board Member
    feels your dog is aggressive towards any human or any dog, you will be asked to leave the facility.
    It is the responsibility of the dog’s handler to clean up any feces left by his or her animal. This includes inside the
    BOTC training facility, as well as the grounds outside the facility.
